Common questions

When exactly does the trial end?
26 June 2026 at 23:59 London time. Every trial licence shares the same expiry date, so the earlier you claim, the longer your trial. The countdown above shows the remaining time live.
What happens after my trial ends?

Your Early Access trial licence expires on 26 June 2026. What you can do next depends on what other Orbit licences you own:

  • Already own Orbit Standard or Lite? Re-enter that licence key and Orbit keeps working at the matching tier — sessions and project files all stay intact.
  • Trial is your only Orbit licence? The app will need a paid licence (Pro, Standard, or Lite) to keep launching. Your projects don't go anywhere — they reload the moment you activate.

The 15% discount on Pro closes when the trial does, so buying Pro before the timer hits zero is the cheapest path forward.

How does the 15% discount work?
Anyone buying Orbit Pro or Pro Education before the Early Access cutoff gets 15% off automatically at checkout. No code to copy. If you're already an Orbit Standard owner, you get the bigger upgrade discount instead (£99 off Pro, £49 off Pro Education) — whichever saving is larger applies. The upgrade discount is permanent, so even after the Early Access window closes existing Standard owners can still upgrade for the difference.
Do I need internet to use the trial?
Trial licences need to phone home at least once every 24 hours to refresh. Once paid, Pro licences switch to a 30-day offline grace. Either way you can keep working through normal travel and brief offline stretches.
Can I claim the free trial more than once?
One trial licence per account, ever. The licence supports 2 device activations so you can run Pro on, say, a studio iMac and a laptop at the same time.
What if I find a bug during the trial?
The fastest path is the feedback form in your account — it tags reports against your licence so we can reach back out about them. If you'd rather email, write to support@southloopstudios.com. We're treating Early Access as a soft launch — bug reports and feature feedback shape the post-launch roadmap directly.
